Birch – Paper Multi Stem
A native birch that is very hardy and desirable for its white peeling bark. Provides nice dappled shade. The City of Edmonton’s introduction of a parasitic wasp that destroys the birch leaf miner has helped to make this tree very popular again. Multi stem means there is more than one trunk, they are usually in clumps of 2-3.
